OpenText™ ALM Quality Center supports non-IT equipment verification for end-to-end traceability in new biotechnology manufacturing plant

UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company, needed a robust software testing and verification solution to support a major SAP rollout and the launch of a new manufacturing facility with hundreds of vendor-supplied equipment items. Using OpenText Application Quality Management, UCB also aimed to replace paper-based, hard-to-standardize processes with a more controlled, compliant, and traceable digital approach.

OpenText implemented OpenText Application Quality Management to centralize requirements, testing, approvals, and e-signatures, with role-based access and real-time reporting across all sites and vendors. The result was over 14,000 requirements logged and an estimated 50,000 test executions, along with stronger traceability, better data integrity, faster approvals, and greater efficiency and compliance for UCB.
