OpenText StreamServe’s e-Invoicing Solution increases SSAB Strip Production’s cost savings

SSAB Strip Production, the largest sheet metal manufacturer in the Nordics and a leading European supplier of high-strength steel, was issuing more than 120,000 paper invoices a year. The paper process was slow, costly and labor-intensive, and handling different countries’ e-invoicing and e-signature rules created a risk of invalid invoices.

SSAB implemented OpenText StreamServe and StreamServe Collector to automate e-invoicing, apply country-specific digital signatures, and archive invoices while integrating with existing systems. The solution cut manual work and postage costs, improved compliance and security, delivered quick ROI, and increased sustainability—51% of invoices were electronic last month, with a goal of 75% within a year.
