Bumble Bee Foods, North America’s largest branded shelf‑stable seafood company, faced a costly, paper‑based procure‑to‑pay process: invoices took about 20 days to process, cost roughly $5.80 each (well above industry average), and AP was decentralized across multiple plants with staff spending much of their time searching for lost invoices.
