Win Technologies, part of the Betway Group, needed a better way to ensure its betting platform could handle huge traffic spikes during major sporting events while maintaining a fast, user-friendly experience. After Microsoft removed key load testing features from Visual Studio, the company evaluated alternatives and selected OpenText Core Performance Engineering to support performance testing and reporting.

OpenText implemented a cloud-based, fully managed solution that integrated with Azure DevOps, Azure Application Insights, and Grafana, and automated weekly tests within Win Technologies’ CI/CD pipeline. The result was faster testing, real-time dashboards, improved collaboration, and lower overhead by eliminating self-managed load generators and reducing the need for extra headcount. Win Technologies said the OpenText approach delivered better productivity, stronger analysis, and lower total cost of ownership.
