OpenText Helps Information Flow at Kuwait Petroleum International

Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), operator of over 4,500 Q8 service stations across seven European countries, faced slow, paper‑heavy head‑office processes that hindered collaboration, tracking, and ISO compliance. With numerous multi‑copy forms, long approval cycles, and distributed content stores, KPI needed to move from a manual environment to automated, auditable workflows to support enterprise efficiency and quality reporting.

Working with partner MGS, KPI implemented the OpenText ECM Suite in a one‑year pilot, automating more than 35 processes for over 120 head‑office staff. The solution cut retrieval and processing times by up to 90% (and 100% for fully automated steps), delivered about 95% paper‑related cost savings on top processes, improved collaboration and reporting, increased user adoption, and made ISO quality reporting and further rollouts (including mobile access and wider regional deployment) achievable.
