Domo, a cloud business intelligence company, needed a query engine that could handle rapidly growing and unpredictable data demands without constraining how customers used its platform. To support its Business Cloud and scale cloud-based analytics, Domo turned to OpenText’s Vertica Analytics Platform for fast, flexible querying and open integration.

OpenText implemented Vertica Analytics Platform in Eon Mode to help Domo manage dynamic workloads by scaling compute and storage resources more precisely. The result was major scale and efficiency: within two years Domo was serving more than 1,800 customers, and its platform was querying over 100 trillion data rows daily, while reducing waste and improving performance management.
