A OpenText Case Study
BlueShore Financial, a Canadian bank that grew its assets from $600M to $3B while shifting to a strategy of highly tailored financial solutions, faced a challenge: an inflexible legacy core banking engine and outsourced print processes that couldn’t support combined, brand-aligned client communications. With tight deadlines to move to a new core system (Temenos T24) and a need to consolidate statements and improve in-branch collateral, the bank needed control, consistency and faster turnaround for customer documents.
The bank implemented OpenText Exstream as a single platform to create, manage and deliver statement and marketing materials, integrating with the new core system and its print partner. Exstream generates more than 28,000 statement files in about 30 minutes, produces identical electronic statements, enables e‑brochures and on‑demand in‑branch printing, and enforces consistent branding—reducing customer calls, avoiding missed production cycles and improving targeted marketing, revenue and client loyalty.
