OpenText Ensures Compliance and Harmonises Processes at Vifor Pharma

Vifor Pharma, a growing international healthcare company, needed to harmonize increasingly complex, paper‑based and siloed document processes to meet strict regulations (including CAPA), reduce time to market, and control the rising cost and effort of compliance and audits across sites in Switzerland, Canada, the USA, the UK and France.

Working with Deloitte, Vifor implemented OpenText Quality Management and OpenText Regulated Documents as a central ECM: a prototype was delivered within months, ~24,000 documents were migrated and key workflows (CAPA, change control, SOP) were digitized. The result: ensured regulatory compliance, easier and faster audits, improved cross‑location collaboration, and reduced system diversity and costs with further rollout planned to increase savings and agility.
