Taboola needed a scalable, on-premises analytics platform that could handle rapidly growing data volumes, deliver faster query performance, and support thousands of users across multiple workloads. After evaluating options, Taboola chose the OpenText Vertica Analytics Platform to fit its infrastructure, cloud-cost constraints, and BI needs.

OpenText implemented Vertica across multiple backend and frontend clusters, supported Taboola’s architecture and rollout, and enabled integrations with Hadoop, Google BigQuery, Tableau, and QlikView. The result was the ingestion of up to 500GB of compressed raw data per day, generation of more than 5,000 daily reports, improved data loading and query speed, and a more scalable, high-concurrency analytics environment for partners and analysts.
