E&P Information Management Association (EPIM) is a consortium supporting information flow for operators and licensees on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. EPIM needed a scalable, future-proof platform to enable effective global collaboration across regional regulations and cultures, stay competitive by improving information sharing, and replace a heavily customized system that blocked upgrades and new technology.

EPIM implemented an OpenText solution—Content Server, Content Lifecycle Management, Extended Workflow, Records Management and Template Workspaces—to provide a configurable global information-management foundation. The result: a more agile, responsive and efficient organization that makes better strategic decisions based on quality information and can adapt to future needs through configuration rather than costly customization.
