OpenText Consolidation of Information Management at Grupa Azoty

Grupa Azoty, one of Poland’s largest chemical groups operating across multiple plants and markets, faced growing complexity from consolidation, high daily volumes of paper records and slow, inefficient document processes. With SAP ERP as its core platform and HP providing IT services, the company needed to standardize workflows, reduce paper archives and speed up document- and HR-related operations across the group.

Working with HP, Grupa Azoty deployed OpenText Document Access, Vendor Invoice Management and Employee File Management for SAP to digitize archives, automate invoice processing and centralize employee records. The roll-out delivered digital instead of paper archiving, faster access to information (including mobile invoice approvals), accelerated invoice handling (about 10,000 invoices/month), improved regulatory compliance, lower administration costs and noticeably higher productivity—more than 100,000 documents were managed digitally in the first year.
