Global Insurance Company, working with OpenText, needed to test a large migration of transformed policy data under tight deadlines while meeting strict quality, speed, and security requirements. The complexity of the data and the many possible policy permutations made manual testing slow and error-prone, creating a need for automation.

OpenText helped implement OpenText Functional Testing, along with OpenText Application Quality Management and OpenText Professional Services, to automate and organize the testing process. The solution enabled iterative testing, reusable scripts, and secure reporting, helping the team test about 10% of 719,000 records and increase testing speed from 2 records per hour to 100 per hour, while supporting a seamless migration for policyholders.
