NORDGETREIDE GmbH & Co. KG is a German food manufacturer (about 400 employees across three sites) that processes cereals and relies heavily on vendor quality. With roughly 150 invoices a day, a growing vendor master of about 6,000 companies and invoices coming from many departments, the paper-based, location-specific invoice workflow caused delays, misrouting and a lack of transparency that hampered active vendor management.

To address this, NORDGETREIDE implemented OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP® (with Invoice Capture Center and Archiving), centralizing scanning at its Lübeck headquarters and automatically routing invoices into SAP for approval by about 60 users. The solution integrated seamlessly with SAP, required minimal training (two-week roll-out), was put live in 36 days using an express implementation, and delivered transparent, faster invoice processing that freed up resources to focus on vendor management and quality assurance.
