A OpenText Case Study
News UK, publisher of The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun, needed to move from a print-focused workflow to a converged, multichannel operation while managing more than 25 million assets and ingesting over 100,000 new digital items daily. Their legacy DAM could not scale for modern digital channels, lacked easy integration with the Méthode editorial system, and provided limited rights tracking, audit and reporting.
They deployed OpenText Content Hub for Publishers — a browser-based, open-standards DAM that integrated with Méthode, automatically tagged incoming content, and centralized workflows and metadata. The system scaled to hundreds of concurrent users, enabled fast search and repurposing across brands, provided comprehensive usage tracking and audit trails for rights and payments, and streamlined reporting and publishing across print and digital channels.
