IPC, a managed services provider for the financial trading community, was experiencing rapid growth and a 15% annual increase in network devices, which exposed the limits of its legacy network fault and performance management tools. OpenText, working with Melillo Consulting, implemented a centralized, scalable monitoring and automation platform that improved device management, compliance, and troubleshooting. The solution helped IPC automate configuration and archiving, saving about 35 man hours per month, and enabled new customer circuits to be rolled out 15% faster on average, sometimes up to 30% faster. It also strengthened ISO compliance, improved visibility across thousands of devices, reduced downtime, and created a single global view of network operations.
