A OpenText Case Study
The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKL) needed a more flexible, future-ready identity and access management approach to support its digital channels, social collaboration goals, and a mix of internal and external users. OpenText, using NetIQ solutions, was selected for its platform-neutral design and flexible pricing and licensing.
OpenText implemented NetIQ Identity Manager, Access Manager, Advanced Authentication, and Self Service Password Reset to support phased deployment across web-based applications, HR, and periodic external users. The new setup improved flexibility, simplified maintenance, and reduced dependence on HR for account changes; it also positioned SKL to cut manual helpdesk password resets and support up to 5,000 periodic users more efficiently.
