Grupo Godo needed to strengthen security and improve integration as it moved to Microsoft and Office 365 while supporting more than 1,000 internal and external users, especially during the sudden shift to remote work caused by COVID-19. Working with OpenText and its partner ITechGrup, the company sought a more cost-effective alternative to expanding Microsoft licensing for advanced identity and access features.
OpenText implemented Access and Identity Manager, Advanced Authentication, and Self-Service Password Reset to deliver secure VPN remote access, single sign-on across on-premises and cloud apps, and stronger password controls. The result was faster collaboration for journalists and staff, significantly reduced helpdesk password requests, and an estimated full ROI within two years, while also creating a flexible foundation for future cloud and role-based access management.
