Elkjøp Nordic, the largest consumer electronics retailer in the Nordics, needed a trusted identity and access management foundation to handle rapid employee turnover, complex onboarding, and strict audit requirements while modernizing for the cloud. Using OpenText NetIQ solutions such as Identity Manager, eDirectory, and Self Service Password Reset, the company aimed to streamline the full employee lifecycle and support its move to Azure.
OpenText helped Elkjøp Nordic containerize its NetIQ environment and run it in Azure Kubernetes Service, preserving existing IAM processes while enabling a faster, more flexible cloud migration. The solution automated onboarding, role changes, and access provisioning across up to 40 systems, supported compliance traceability, and helped manage over 14,000 identities; Elkjøp also reported more than 200 drivers in production and 250 live integrations, saving time and money.
