NetIQ Access Manager provides a seamless environment in which employees and customers can access information resources securely

World Wide Technology (WWT) needed a simpler, more secure way to manage access to hundreds of internal and external information resources while supporting fast growth and improving single sign-on (SSO). The company turned to OpenText’s NetIQ Access Manager and Identity Manager to replace a patchwork of legacy tools and homegrown code.

OpenText implemented Access Manager to centralize access control and deliver seamless SSO across on-premises, cloud, and external applications, while Identity Manager was set up to automate user lifecycle management. The result was true bidirectional SSO, a more consistent user experience, and much faster integration of new SaaS apps such as Salesforce and ServiceNow—cutting deployment time from about 16 weeks to under 2 weeks, roughly 8x faster, while also reducing complexity and internal costs.
