Neptune Energy Germany embarks on digital transformation of maintenance management

Neptune Energy Germany, the exploration and production arm supplying a significant share of Germany’s oil and gas, needed to modernize maintenance management to improve compliance, reduce paper, and give engineers and technicians fast, reliable access to critical documentation. The company required harmonized, process-driven document control and better visibility of maintenance issues across teams and systems.

Neptune implemented OpenText Content Suite integrated with IBM Maximo, rolling the interface out from a 20-user pilot to about 150 production, maintenance and engineering users. Two-way synchronization and automated workflows created a single-view access to documents, enabling real-time status updates, faster retrieval, stronger maintenance tracking and improved operational uptime and process efficiency.
