National television station chooses Content Manager to protect historic archive

Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) needed a better way to manage its vast broadcast archive and administrative records while keeping disruption and training costs low. With OpenText Content Manager, implemented with support from partner BCC Services Croatia, HRT set out to modernize document and records management across TV and radio production workflows.

OpenText helped HRT migrate more than 2.5 million records into Content Manager and connect it to existing systems through .NET APIs and web services. The result was faster search and retrieval across audio, video, photos, and articles, mobile access to content, improved invoice and contract tracking, and smoother approvals—delivered with no negative impact to production and with the final cutover completed over three weekends.
