The firm faced inefficiencies from paper‑based forms and locally varied capture methods—misplaced paperwork, slow approvals and inconsistent datasets made reporting, governance and client service difficult.
To address this, Mott MacDonald implemented OpenText LiquidOffice Intelligent Forms Automation to standardize electronic forms, prepopulate fields, integrate with its ERP and retain full audit trails while accommodating local requirements. The solution improved data accuracy, sped up processes, eased audits and enabled custom reporting via APIs; it now processes an average of 30,000 forms per month (peaks ~37,000) and is cited as one of the company’s most successful IT projects.
