MMM Group enhances collaboration, boosts performance with OpenText Content Suite and other OpenText ECM technologies

MMM Group is a Canadian civil engineering firm with a 60‑year history, roughly 2,000 professionals and thousands of projects each year. Because its business depends on timely, accurate information (what it calls the DEEP model: Data, Expertise, Experience, People), MMM faced low adoption of its enterprise content management system, uneven access for distributed project teams, and the need to retain knowledge over long project lifecycles while meeting modern employee expectations.

MMM addressed this by expanding use of OpenText Content Suite and adding Tempo Box and Communities of Practice, backed by focused change management—training, streamlined UI, CAD/GIS integration, governance and local champions. Within a year projects managed nearly doubled (5,400 to 10,400), daily ECM users rose from 30% to 50%, documents grew from 2.8M to ~6M and email capture increased 150% (.5M to 1.25M), yielding faster collaboration, better onboarding, stronger compliance and long‑term knowledge retention.
