Miele Manages Global Online Brand Presence with OpenText

Miele, the world’s leading maker of premium household and professional appliances, needed to present a consistent, high‑quality global brand online while still allowing local teams to adapt content for different markets. Managing product information, design and translations across dozens of countries and hundreds of editors created risks of inconsistency, errors and high editorial overhead—so Miele sought a centralized, easy‑to‑use web content management approach that would preserve brand standards and accommodate local needs.

Miele implemented OpenText Web Site Management with tight SAP integration to centralize design and product data, provide intuitive editing screens and automate content delivery. The result: a uniform, centrally managed online presence across 47 countries, shorter editor training (about three days), fewer errors and lower workload, ensured regulatory compliance (e.g., energy values) and scalable performance through clustering—delivering more efficient, consistent brand management worldwide.
