Micro Focus NOM (Network Operations Management) helps DATAGROUP secure and manage its networks

DATAGROUP, a leading German IT services provider with over 2,000 employees, needed to securely operate and monitor its own and many customers’ heterogeneous networks across cloud and on-prem environments. The company faced requirements for strict tenant separation, multi-vendor device management, automated topology visualization, centralized configuration and patching, performance and traffic reporting, compliance with security standards, and faster mean time to repair (MTTR).

Working with implementation partner ITC, DATAGROUP deployed Micro Focus Network Operations Management (NOM) to deliver integrated fault, performance, configuration, and compliance management. Automated discovery, topology maps, continuous monitoring, configuration backups, and traffic/performance collection enabled root-cause analysis, reduced MTTR (e.g., rapid identification of a faulty redundant power supply), improved reporting and capacity planning, and ensured continuous security and compliance.
