NNIT A/S is a Copenhagen-based IT service provider known for life sciences expertise that faced rising costs and complexity from hundreds of legacy systems as it expanded internationally. Rather than outsourcing, NNIT set a strategic goal to eliminate repetitive manual work through automation to standardize offerings, speed delivery, improve compliance, and reach new markets and smaller customers.

NNIT ran a proof-of-concept and deployed Micro Focus’ cloud and automation suite (including Cloud Service Automation, Server, Network and Operations Orchestration) to orchestrate server, storage and network provisioning. The result was dramatic: virtual server deployment dropped from three days to one hour, physical server deployment from five days to two hours, validation costs fell by about 80%, and predictable lower costs enabled the launch of the GxP Cloud and access to new customer segments.
