A global aeronautics manufacturer with about 100,000 employees faced slow, inconsistent application testing across four business divisions and some 13 internal customers. The test automation team struggled with low adoption, limited tooling, and costly, time-consuming script development, which constrained their ability to offer a scalable “automation-as-a-service.”

By adopting OpenText UFT One and ALM/Quality Center and building a keyword-driven, parameterized framework integrated with CI/CD practices, the team grew its reusable script library from ~100 to over 300 and automated scheduled regression runs. The result: higher test coverage and early defect detection, shorter test cycles, reduced development costs, increased customer adoption and satisfaction, and repeat business from internal customers.
