DATEV eG wanted to bring the same consistency and coverage to performance testing that it already had for functional testing, but its teams were working with fragmented tools and limited testing frequency. By moving to OpenText Core Performance Engineering, DATEV aimed to make performance testing easier to use, more standardized, and better integrated into CI pipelines across its cloud services.

OpenText implemented a self-service, flexible performance testing solution that improved workflows, analytics, and root-cause analysis for developers and testers. As a result, DATEV now runs at least 50 test runs each week across about 40 cloud products and 400 API endpoints—17 times more than before—and also identified a bottleneck in a critical authentication service that caused a four-fold slowdown.
