A major food and beverage manufacturing company faced a high-stakes litigation review involving about 175,000 documents that had to be produced within 30 days. The company and its law firm needed a faster, more accurate way to identify relevant material, and turned to OpenText and OpenText™ Insight Predict for support.

OpenText implemented a continuous active learning (CAL) approach with OpenText Insight Predict to prioritize review, correct coding inefficiencies, and surface responsive documents faster. The project met the production deadline, found relevant documents more efficiently, and ultimately achieved an estimated 89.4% recall, with 80% recall reached after reviewing only about 36,000 documents instead of more than 130,000 under a linear review process.
