Cognizant needed a scalable, cloud-based performance testing approach for a geographically diverse client with complex SAP and application environments. After evaluating multiple tools, Cognizant selected OpenText Core Performance Engineering to support end-to-end load testing across more than 10 protocols, over 1,000 test scripts, and 600+ test scenarios.

OpenText implemented a flexible cloud solution that could spin up load generators on demand across 20+ regions, enabling testing with 5,000 virtual users and scaling to the target of 50 users per load generator. The result was improved productivity, better SLA compliance, and real-time visibility into performance bottlenecks, along with annual cost savings of £60,000 for the client.
