Lentis, a healthcare organization, was facing time-consuming and error-prone manual user provisioning as part of an infrastructure renewal project. It wanted to upgrade its existing identity management setup and connect OpenText Identity Manager with its HRM system, Beaufort, so new employees could be granted access more quickly and securely.
OpenText implemented Identity Manager with integrations to Beaufort and plans for a service desk tool, enabling automated account creation, deletion, and self-service access requests. The result is expected to cut onboarding from about two weeks to almost instant, reduce IT administrative burden, improve security, and boost efficiency and productivity across Lentis.
