Kambi, a global sports betting operator handling millions of bets and growing transaction volumes, needed a flexible, reliable analytics platform and data warehouse to support rapid scaling, strict regulatory compliance, and peak demand across jurisdictions. The company turned to OpenText Vertica to strengthen its core analytics capabilities and improve how it managed mission-critical transactional data.

OpenText implemented Vertica as Kambi’s central on-premises data warehouse, integrating data from production systems, the data lake, and external sources while enabling data marts, reporting, and self-service analytics. The results included faster aggregation, reduced compute time and operational costs, and strong performance at scale: Kambi has 375 daily users, more than 55% of queries are answered in under 10 seconds, and the platform supports average monthly volumes of 530 million transactions.
