A OpenText Case Study
Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (MYDIN) is a leading Malaysian retail chain with 78 stores that was handling around 2,000 vendor invoices per day through a manual, paper-based process—requiring about 125 people, causing errors, high staff turnover and looming capacity limits as the business grew. Faced with rising costs and inefficiency, MYDIN sought an integrated, scalable accounts payable solution that would digitize invoice capture and processing end-to-end.
Working with Delaware Consulting, MYDIN implemented OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions and OpenText Invoice Capture Center, completing the project in 11 months. The automated solution now auto-matches 95% of invoices, halving the headcount needed for invoice processing, saving roughly 36,000 hours per year, reducing errors and turnover, improving invoice visibility and approval speed, and enabling better supplier relationships and future growth.
