DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance (DPLI) is a leading Indian life insurer with 126 branches, over 3,900 employees and $550M AUM. Facing rapid growth and rising customer expectations, DPLI needed to digitize end-to-end business processes, move to a paperless environment, integrate document management with its core policy administration system (PAS), speed up transactions and simplify agent/channel onboarding while reducing errors and costs.

DPLI implemented OpenText Content Suite and AppWorks, supported by OpenText Managed Services (COSMOS), to create integrated workflows, 120+ PAS touchpoints and rules-based straight-through processing for quotes, receipting and channel management. The solution digitized 13 million documents in 15 days, generates and uploads receipts in under a second (150,000 in under two years), cut transaction times from hours to seconds and reduced processing costs by about 25–30%, while improving user productivity and faster agent onboarding.
