Kuwait Banking Association Undertake Document Management Improvements with OpenText

Kuwait Banking Association (KBA), a trade body representing 22 banks in Kuwait, was hampered by a growing archive of paper records stored onsite and at an offsite warehouse. Slow retrieval times, poor knowledge sharing across teams, and high paper consumption reduced staff productivity and created environmental concerns.

KBA engaged local partner MGS to deploy OpenText Document Management (eDOCS DM), scanning and purging legacy files, applying consistent classification and metadata, and enabling email notifications and self‑service search. The project delivered faster document retrieval, higher staff productivity, reduced dependence on physical storage, and a lower paper footprint, with KBA now exploring further workflow and records‑management improvements.
