A OpenText Case Study
Kuratorium Wiener Pensionisten-Wohnhauser (KWP) needed a secure, scalable way to support day-to-day operations for about 2,000 employees accessing email, documents, printing, and shared files across desktops and laptops. The organization also wanted to replace less secure public cloud file sharing while preparing for growing IT demands and more digital care processes.
OpenText provided a set of solutions including Open Enterprise Server, ZENworks Configuration Management, Filr, and OpenText NetIQ Identity Manager. These tools improved centralized file management, enabled fast software rollouts, secured internal file sharing, and streamlined user and permission management. As a result, KWP strengthened data security, improved efficiency, and positioned its IT environment to scale toward an expected 20,000 devices while supporting future growth and electronic documentation.
