A OpenText Case Study
Kellogg’s, the global breakfast-cereal and snacks leader based in Battle Creek, Michigan, moved to modernize its software delivery by introducing Agile across its application development teams. Historically reliant on a waterfall approach and HP Quality Center, the company sought a single, global ALM platform that could support both Agile and waterfall projects, increase collaboration, speed delivery, and enable a shift toward DevOps.
After evaluating the market, Kellogg’s adopted OpenText ALM Octane as its standard ALM tool, migrating 100% of testing and supporting an initial 70 workspaces and more than 30,000 tests. The move delivered a more intuitive user experience, boosted development productivity, simplified testing workflows, and paved the way for broader DevOps adoption and a global rollout integrated with project- and service-management toolchains.
