Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Delivers Optimized Website Navigation Thanks to OpenText Semantic Navigation (OTSN)

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), a major research university with about 9,000 employees and 24,000 students, struggled with information being hard to find across more than 600 websites and 150,000 pages. Editors also faced inefficient, manual workflows that slowed content publishing and reduced searchability for external visitors.

KIT’s Steinbuch Center of Computing implemented OpenText Semantic Navigation alongside OpenText Web Site Management, using semantic content analytics to surface people, topics and context. The solution made information far easier to find, improved SEO and topic pages, automated routine editorial tasks (saving time for roughly 1,300 editors), and delivered positive user feedback and ongoing plans for further integrations.
