Jacky Perrenot, a major French transportation company with more than 5,200 employees, needed to replace an expensive, hard-to-track fax environment used for logistics documents. The company was processing over 2,000 faxes a day across multiple subsidiaries and wanted a centralized digital fax solution that could work with its Xerox multifunction printers, support remote users, and improve security and auditability. OpenText XM Fax and OpenText Professional Services were chosen to help modernize the workflow.

OpenText implemented XM Fax Service Provider Edition on-premises with SIP trunking, high availability, and easy integration to Jacky Perrenot’s Xerox MFP fleet. The result was company-wide fax tracking, easier sending and receiving from laptops and Microsoft Office, and stronger document security. OpenText helped Jacky Perrenot eliminate fax machines and PSTN lines, deliver about 30% cost savings, and recoup the solution cost in two years.
