ITC Secure Networking slashes time to detect cyber-attacks with Micro Focus ArcSight

London-based managed security services provider ITC Secure Networking helps organizations protect critical data but faced a challenge: detecting and responding to increasingly fast, automated cyberattacks (highlighted by WannaCry) in a way that was both rapid and affordable for clients such as financial firms and global manufacturers. Manually collecting and analyzing logs from firewalls, IPS, security apps and other devices was time-consuming and costly, and many customers lacked the budget or staff to run a full SIEM themselves.

ITC addressed this by hosting and managing OpenText ArcSight ESM as the core of its NetSure360° platform, running a dedicated SOC, building custom use cases and multi-tenant deployments, and offering the service for a fixed monthly fee. The outcome: detection times dropped from hours to minutes, ArcSight processed 38.6 billion events in one month and helped identify 467 incidents, enabled automated containment actions, reduced customer costs, and improved regulatory compliance reporting.
