Rabobank, the Dutch banking giant, needed to modernize its IT strategy to better align technology with business goals, improve integration across tools, and gain more visibility into IT performance. Working with OpenText and its Professional Services team, Rabobank adopted the IT4IT framework and OpenText products such as Service Manager, Universal CMDB, and Operations Manager i, supported by FlexCare services.
OpenText implemented a three-layer solution that standardized and integrated Rabobank’s IT environment, automated key processes, and provided proactive support to resolve and prevent issues. The results included faster incident root-cause analysis, reduced outage times, improved reporting and follow-ups, and greater operational efficiency; Rabobank also noted that OpenText resolved 10 to 30 incidents per month and helped the bank avoid relearning issues across scenarios.
