Integrated end-to-end application delivery solution supports digital transformation for optimal customer experience

MTN South Africa, a leading telecom serving over 30 million customers, set out to support its Ambition 2025 digital strategy by breaking down silos, improving customer engagement, and accelerating time-to-market across more than 1,100 annual IT projects. Legacy systems and fragmented toolchains made end-to-end visibility, governance, and rapid delivery difficult, so MTN sought an integrated application delivery solution to unify workflows and improve operational transparency.

Working with iOCO, MTN implemented a Micro Focus integrated toolset—including PPM, ALM Octane, UFT (One/Mobile/Developer), LoadRunner Enterprise, Release Control, Deployment Automation, Service Virtualization and Operations Orchestration—creating a single source of truth and CI/CD-ready pipeline. The outcome: fully automated testing with >75% faster test execution, deployment time cut from four hours to 10 minutes (96% reduction), 113 man‑hours saved in a month, stronger governance and reporting, and faster, more reliable delivery of customer-facing services.
