IFCO Systems, a global logistics provider serving customers in more than 50 countries, needed a better way to validate and process the freight invoices that make up most of its AP workload. Its previous external validation tool added manual steps and complexity, slowing approvals and making it harder to match invoices against SAP records.

OpenText implemented OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for SAP Solutions to centralize invoice handling within IFCO’s SAP environment. The solution automated receipt, validation, and posting, helping IFCO roll out VIM to 25 countries in 18 months. As a result, close to 500 users now process invoices with greater consistency, faster approvals, fewer manual steps, and reduced double payments.
