ICA Gruppen, Sweden’s leading grocery retailer with around 1,300 stores and 7,600 employees, faced rising complexity in testing both customer-facing and internal mobile applications as services moved to phones and tablets. The company needed a more efficient, Swedish-language-capable testing platform to ensure business-critical apps worked across a growing variety of devices and operating systems.

ICA adopted Micro Focus Mobile Center, rolling it out through pilots and rapid onboarding, to provide a single mobility gateway and real-device quality lab. The solution expanded device and configuration coverage, enabled remote testing, simplified defect reporting, and improved test optimization—delivering time and cost savings, higher application quality and better user experiences; within months ICA had 38 projects and 73 users on the platform.
