A OpenText Case Study
Hydro Tasmania, Australia’s largest renewable energy provider with about 1,200 staff across hydro, gas and wind assets, struggled with scattered content and disconnected structured/unstructured information. Multiple versions of safety checklists, poor audit readiness, limited remote access and loss of critical knowledge created safety, compliance and operational risks.
The company implemented an integrated content management approach using OpenText Content Suite Platform with Extended ECM for SAP and Application Governance & Archiving for SharePoint to create a single source of truth and bridge SAP and SharePoint. The rollout improved findability and mobile access, simplified compliance, achieved broad user adoption (about two-thirds of employees), and is projected to save roughly 25,000 hours per year while boosting safety and competitive agility.
