Huhtamaki India lays the foundation for a digital transformation with OpenText low-code development platform

Huhtamaki India, a leading flexible-packaging manufacturer, faced growing inefficiency after acquiring businesses with disparate systems and processes. The company set out to consolidate multiple ERPs and centralize finance and accounting into a shared services model, but manual, email- and paper-based workflows across plants were slowing operations and hampering visibility.

Working with partner Muraai, Huhtamaki deployed OpenText AppWorks (plus Content Server and Capture Center) as a low-code platform to standardize and automate finance processes; the rollout was completed remotely during COVID-19. The solution digitized 18 finance workflows for about 90 users, eliminated manual paperwork, centralized transaction handling, and delivered dashboards and reports that improved visibility, sped decision-making, and enabled rapid application development and remote flexibility.
