Hewlett Packard Enterprise IT needed to maintain five-nines availability across a massive environment of databases, applications, servers, and network devices, but complex incidents were hard to diagnose because existing tools could not quickly identify root causes across silos. OpenText, using Operations Bridge Analytics and related mobile testing tools, helped HPE tackle these challenges while supporting the development and testing of the HPE MyComp Mobile app.
OpenText implemented a DevOps-style approach using Unified Functional Testing, Mobile Center, and AppPulse Mobile, integrating them with HPE’s application lifecycle management and service ticketing processes. The result was faster testing, better diagnostics, and stronger collaboration between dev, test, and business teams; most notably, OpenText’s Operations Bridge Analytics helped HPE identify a database issue’s root cause in less than 30 minutes, 72 times faster than before.
