HPE IT identifies the source of a problem 72 times faster with Micro Focus Operations Bridge Analytics (OBA)

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) IT was tasked with redesigning the MyComp Mobile app to better emulate the desktop experience and improve the UI for roughly 16,000 sales reps. The project faced tight IT bandwidth during the company split, a BYOD environment requiring support across multiple OS versions and device types, and an expectedly slow, manual QA process.

HPE adopted a DevOps approach using Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Mobile Center and AppPulse Mobile, integrated with its ALM, to automate functional, regression and performance testing and beta diagnostics. Automation cut stress/performance test time from weeks to minutes, reduced required QA resources, produced more actionable defect data, accelerated delivery and ROI, and resulted in a high-quality mobile app rolled out to the sales force.
