A OpenText Case Study
Endress+Hauser, through its internal IT provider Endress+Hauser InfoServe in Germany, needed a more consistent and transparent way to test around 200 applications across global locations. Before adopting OpenText Application Quality Management, testing was mostly manual, defects were tracked in spreadsheets, and there was no clear end-to-end view of test results or issue management.
OpenText implemented OpenText Application Quality Management and OpenText Functional Testing to create a central testing framework, automate workflows, and improve traceability from testing to defect resolution. The solution standardized global testing, increased automation, enabled 80% of test cases to be built with Business Process Testing, and integrated with SAP ChaRM to automatically sync about 55 monthly change requests and test results; as a result, Endress+Hauser reported earlier defect detection, higher application quality, and improved customer satisfaction.
