Fox Entertainment Group integrates content management solution

Fox Entertainment Group, part of 20th Century Fox, faced slow, fragmented paper and legacy systems for managing contracts and other critical legal and business collateral. Michael Burch, Executive Director of Secure Document Management Services, led a mandate to replace the “old school” technology to speed access, improve security and break down information silos across legal, TV, home entertainment, HR, payroll and other teams.

Fox deployed OpenText eDOCS as a centralized, encrypted document repository and integrated it with PeopleSoft, ERP, Salesforce and other applications to automate ingestion, scanning, metadata extraction and secure distribution. The result: files that once took a day to find are located in minutes, collaboration and sales visibility improved, distribution and vendor workflows were automated, and executives now rely on the system for faster, more secure business decisions.
